We’re excited to present a volunteer opportunity to you! 

The staff at our Domestic Violence Shelter has requested we revamp the play room.  We’ve already received support and donations from generous people in the community, but now we need your help.  Here are the details:

Saturday, March 31, 2012

Two shifts:

9 am – 12 pm for the Handy Helpers.  This shift will mainly do all the painting, hanging of shelves, securing of storage units, etc.

12:30 pm – 3 pm for the Designers Extraordinaire.  This shift will put out all the toys, set up the stations around the room, and any last minute decorating details.

Each shift can have a maximum of 6 people.  So if all the slots are filled before I receive your response, I can put you on a ‘back-up’ list and you can help out in other ways.

Please send an email at Sspaugh@thefamilytree.org letting me know which shift you’d prefer.  I have a feeling that all the slots are going to fill up soon so hurry up and email me!

If March 31^st doesn’t work for you or all the slots filled up, please contact me at the above email address if you’d like to help out prior to the event.  If your passion is shopping or organizing or building, we have something for you!
