Our social events provide an opportunity to network with Denver's finest Young Professionals in a relaxed, but professional environment. So, bring lots of business cards, dress like you do at work, and be prepared to present your business and learn about others. We expect people to leave our events with new business relationships and opportunities. We work with who we are friends with, so get ready to foster some new friendships! There is no fee, membership or age requirements for MHYP social events, everyone is welcome to come see what we are all about.
We also feature food and drink specials and a fish-bowl drawing that includes fantastic giveaways and prizes (must be present to win).
Launched in 2001, Douglas County Partners is nationally recognized as one of the best mentoring programs in the country. Referred by schools, juvenile courts, or other human service agencies, Partners matches youth ages 8-17 with an adult, volunteer mentor. Each adult volunteer is thoroughly screened using a criminal background check, driving record review, proof of car insurance and driver’s license, four personal references, and an intensive personal interview and training process.
Partners provides support to youth and mentors, and also helps families access vital community resources.
