Our social events provide an opportunity to network with Denver's finest Young Professionals in a relaxed, but professional environment. So, bring lots of business cards, dress like you do at work, and be prepared to present your business and learn about others. We expect people to leave our events with new business relationships and opportunities. We work with who we are friends with, so get ready to foster some new friendships! There is no fee, membership or age requirements for MHYP social events, everyone is welcome to come see what we are all about.
We also feature food and drink specials and a fish-bowl drawing that includes fantastic giveaways and prizes (must be present to win).
NOTE: We will be gathering donations leading up to and at this event for our featured non-profit, Remembering the Brave. Our goal is to sponsor a table and help pay for a family to attend the ceremony in September ($500). To donate online, just follow the link and make sure to enter "(MHYP)" after your last name so we can track our total donations.
REMEMBERING THE BRAVE CEREMONIES
The Armed Forces are steeped in tradition and ceremony. It is only fitting that similar gravity is considered when honoring the families of the brave. Remembering the accomplishments and lives of the brave is very important.
Each year we provide the ceremony and elements that honor our heroes' families with the dignified presentation of full mounted sets of medals, as well as any posthumous awards and decorations. This formal, black-tie ceremony creates an atmosphere of honor and one of solemn remembrance for each attending family’s fallen hero, as they are personally recognized during the evening. Attendance at the ceremony is open to all interested parties, however, families of fallen heroes our guests of the foundation.
Throughout the year, Remembering the Brave hosts a number of other events within the scope of our mission to raise funds for this ceremony. As each family member is a guest, their attendance and all the costs of their special evening are solely provided through donations and fundraising efforts. It is our hope to sponsor more than 50 families at our 9thannual ceremony, September 10th, 2011. With your help, we can provide one or more families with memories that will last a lifetime, and at the end of the night, we have left them with the knowledge their community has reached out to say “thank you”, and they know without a doubt, we will forever remember their loved one’s service and sacrifice for this nation.
