Our social events provide an opportunity to network with Denver's finest Young Professionals in a relaxed, but professional environment. So, bring lots of business cards, dress like you do at work, and be prepared to present your business and learn about others. We expect people to leave our events with new business relationships and opportunities. We work with who we are friends with, so get ready to foster some new friendships! There is no fee, membership or age requirements for MHYP social events, everyone is welcome to come see what we are all about.
We also feature food and drink specials and a fish-bowl drawing that includes fantastic giveaways and prizes (must be present to win).
Featured Non-Profit: Colorado Youth At Risk
Colorado Youth at Risk aims to reduce the number of high school dropouts, match students with an adult mentor, and provide students with a sense of the future and their place in that future. Colorado Youth at Risk has been providing youth mentoring services to Denver’s inner city youth since 1993. During that time, CYAR has served more than 2,500 young people and trained more than 750 mentors, changing the lives of some of Denver’s most marginalized youth. While the graduation rate of Denver Public Schools is close to 50%, youth who go through our programs have a graduation rate of 90%. We truly change lives.
CYAR is currently recruiting mentors for their April launch course! For more information, come and chat with them at the event or contact Halo, Volunteer Manager, halo@coloradoyouthatrisk.org
