Events

Our social events provide an opportunity to network with Denver's finest Young Professionals in a relaxed, but professional environment. So, bring lots of business cards, dress like you do at work, and be prepared to present your business and learn about others. We expect people to leave our events with new business relationships and opportunities. We work with who we are friends with, so get ready to foster some new friendships! There is no fee, membership or age requirements for MHYP social events, everyone is welcome to come see what we are all about.

We also feature food and drink specials and a fish-bowl drawing that includes fantastic giveaways and prizes (must be present to win).

The Tavern will be providing free food including their Classic Sliders and Buffalo Chicken Egg Rolls as well as drink specials of 2-for-1 domestic drafts, house wine and well cocktails.

About LoDo Cares

The 20 year old community service arm of LoDo District, Inc. whose mission is to support charitable efforts that enhance the experience of those who live, work, and play in LoDo and the surrounding areas is a partnership with the Lower Downtown Neighborhood Association (LoDoNA).  In addition to its support of the Barth Hotel, LoDo Cares works on beautification, parks, homelessness and community support projects.

About LoDo Young Professionals

The LoDo Young Professionals exists to provide our members with opportunities for civic engagement, mentoring, and social interaction. We provide a professional speaker once a quarter and pair our members up with prominent mentors from the community.  The committee also seeks to give back to the LoDo community by engaging in neighborhood service projects through LoDo Cares.

About The Tavern Downtown

Tavern Downtown is forged from an historic LoDo warehouse.  The main level offers a large mahogany bar, game room with mini bowling and pool, dining room and dance floor and numerous HD TVs.  The 11,000 square foot award-winning rooftop patio overlooks Coors Field and Market and 20th streets.  It features two oversized bars, an indoor/outdoor patio space, 14 HD TVs, two HD projection screens and an outdoor fireplace.  Tavern Downtown caters to the young hip crowd and the pre and post-sports event fans and is a preferred destination for both Denver residents and visitors.  Favorite menu items include the Original Sliders, Tavern Wings and Chicago Dog (perfect for a pre-game snack!).  The 190 Octane Fat Tuesday is the standout beverage of choice – combining grain alcohol and frozen orange juices.
