Our social events provide an opportunity to network with Denver's finest Young Professionals in a relaxed, professional environment. So bring lots of business cards, dress like you do at work, and be prepared to present your business and learn about others. We expect people to leave our events with new business relationships and opportunities. We work with who we are friends with, so get ready to foster some new friendships! There are no membership or age requirements for MHYP socials, everyone is welcome to come see what we are all about.

We also feature food and drink specials and a fish-bowl drawing that includes fantastic giveaways and prizes (must be present to win).

About Sak Saum

Located in Phnom Penh and the Saang district of Cambodia, Sak Saum is a ministry dedicated to the rescue, restoration, transformation and rehabilitation of vulnerable and exploited women and men.Sak Saum is pioneering a model of self-sustaining ministry. From the beginning, their goal has been to create a nurturing, empowering, restorative program which facilitates vocational training in sewing, excellent products, and community development. They believe in the union of powerful, life-changing outreach with effective, excellent business.Their work is supported through the sale of Their products around the world. Sak Saum’s business reaches over 30 states in America as well as Australia, Japan, Germany, England and more. 

They facilitate 12 girls in the full-time program each year. They also employ 50+ men and women through their Vocational Training Center (VTC). The VTC creates economic development, skill development, educational development and other opportunities to families in the Saang district. This is how the battle against human trafficking will be won – one person, one family, one community at a time

About Erika, a local ambassador: 

Erika Dickson has been representing Sak Saum for over 4 years.  She grew up in Montana and taught kindergarten for 4 years before her kids were born.  She started her journey, seeing captives set free, after typing dictations for her dad, who does psychological testing for sex offenders. She was over come with fear and decided from that point on that she would commit her life to the cause.
