Come join us at  Tears McFarlane House for this month's MHYP Social where you can network and interact with fellow MHYP members and guests. The Tears McFarlane House is one of Denver's most iconic landmarks. This historic property is located in the heart of Greater Capitol Hill and sits on the edge of beautiful Cheesman Park. The home was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1976 as an important architectural survivor from the 1900’s when the Capitol Hill and Cheesman Park neighborhoods were home to Denver’s most elegant addresses. Currently the Tears-McFarlane House is home to non-profits and local businesses as well as a unique space available to rent for your next meeting, party, celebration, wedding or retreat. Price varies on space rented. We offer non-profit discounts, CHUN membership discounts and 10% off entire rental of property. This month's Non-Profit partner is Extreme Community Makeover and the partnerered Young Professional group is Excelsior's Impact Circle. Read more about these great organizations below! About Extreme Community Makeover

Extreme Community Makeover coordinates volunteer teams to partner with underserved people to improve their own homes and neighborhoods. These projects build safer environments, cultivate community among residents, neighborhoods and networks of local resource providers, and connect residents to a permanent path toward healthy, hopeful and stable lives

About Excelsior's Impact Circle 

Excelsior’s Impact Circle is a community outreach program made up of young professionals that are passionate about both networking and positively impacting the community. The goals of the Impact Circle are twofold – to help spread awareness of Excelsior’s mission and to fulfill identified needs of our at-risk youth and families. A few of the many ways Impact Circle members do this are by attending events, participating in done-in-a-day projects, hosting drives to collect in-kind items, and/or supporting event committees for fundraising purposes. While collaborating to make a huge impact in the lives of youth and families in our community, Impact Circle members are also expanding their networks by building valuable relationships with like-minded people. 

Our social events provide an opportunity to network with Denver's finest Young Professionals in a relaxed, professional environment. So come with an open mind, dress like you do at work, and be prepared to learn about the other professionals in the room. We work with people we like, so be prepared to foster some new business friendships! There are no membership or age requirements for MHYP socials, everyone is welcome to come network and learn more about MHYP.

Our socials feature food and drink specials and a fish-bowl drawing that includes fantastic giveaways and prizes (must be present to win).
