This month's social will be held in-person at Washington Park following local COVID-19 guidelines (masks required and social distancing)!!

We will be forming groups of 10 people or less but feel free to invite friends as there will be no charge to attend. BYOB, bring chairs or blankets and be ready to have some fun networking! 

April's Featured Non-Profit: Dumb Friends League 

Founded in 1910, the Dumb Friends League, based in Denver, Colorado, is the largest independent, nonprofit community-based animal shelter/humane society in the Rocky Mountain region, caring for thousands of pets annually and accepting lost and relinquished pets, as well as hundreds of equines. Dumb Friends League rescues animals & offers pet adoption, veterinary services and more and is committed to "working with our compassionate community, we will end pet homelessness and animal suffering."

Upcoming Events: The Annual Furry Scurry, our largest annual public fundraiser, will take place in May 2021. Lulu’s BBQ, our annual gala, will be held on August 21, 2021.

Volunteer Opportunities: We offer volunteer opportunities year-round at our facilities for individuals who are passionate about pets, as well as select group volunteer opportunities for our corporate partners/founders. Some of these opportunities may take place remotely, such as supporting our advocacy efforts, or gathering supplies for pets in our shelters.

Young Professionals Group: We recently launched a “Young Pawfessionals" group for those ages 21-39 who are interested in working in (or currently work in) the nonprofit or animal welfare sectors.

The MHYP Monthly Social occurs on the Second Tuesday of every month and is open to the public. We feature a Non-Profit organization at every one of our social events and strive to make each event unique.
