These lunches will give you exclusive access to people who's time is at a premium, in a setting that promotes open conversation. About Walid Mourtada

Transforming Transit – Bringin Tuk-Tuk’s to Downtown and Beyond

Walid Mourtada, eTuk’s Co-founder and CEO, was born in London, England and lived across the world before landing in Denver in 1999. Walid is a University of Michigan Alumni, where he earned both his Undergraduate and Masters Degree. His Undergrad focus was in Engineering, while his Masters was a combination of Engineering and Management.

Prior to Co-founding eTuk USA and eTuk Denver, Walid spent a significant time in the consulting business focusing on building project/portfolio management as well as organizational capabilities for Fortune 5 multi-national comapnies. Highlights from his career include key roles in an automotive turnaround and partaking in the management of over $80 Billion dollars of projects.

In his role as CEO for the eTuk Companies Walid is primarily focused on strategic planning, partner and supplier relationships as well as oversight of the day to day operations. eTuk USA has a licensing agreement with the Tuk-Tuk factory in Amsterdam and are being manufactured out of Denver to public and private vendors. eTuk Denver has launched a downtown shuttle service carrying passengers within a five mile radius of Denver’s Union Station to connect “the last mile” in Denver’s transportation hub.

Walid is an avid snowboarder, scuba diver, adventure seeker and enjoys a weekend game of volleyball in the park. His personal goal is to (purposely) travel to over 100 countries in the world.
