Sylvia Theisen spent the first 13 years of her career in a psychotherapist's office running a successful practice counseling employees of Fortune 500 companies. With a masters degree in clinical social work from the University of Denver, Theisen provided therapy services through Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) to companies including Caterpillar, McDonnell Douglas and US Sprint. As she listened to people share their stories of heartache and loss, she developed strategies to help them bounce back, reduce their stress and show up as the best version of themselves, both at home and in their business. Wanting a bit of a shake-up in her own life, Sylvia plunged into the ultra-competitive business of real estate and closed more than $100 million in sales. Receiving five star ratings for excellence in negotiating and customer satisfaction, she earned the ranks of the top women in the business.
Today, Sylvia provides keynote speeches, training and coaching to audiences across the country. Her talks combine her natural empathy and business savvy with a generous dose of humor.
Sylvia has an innate ability to take personal development topics and naturally weave them into the fabric of a conference, providing a lively and interesting alternative to industry specific presentations. She keeps her audiences engaged and gives them a straight forward action plan they'll actually implement and get results.
